We’ve made it! Today on the 12th day of blogmas, I want to wish you a very merry Christmas if you celebrate, happy holidays, and a happy and healthy new year. I hope you have had as much fun reading The 12 Days of Blogmas as much as I had fun writing them!

I know that this holiday season may look different for many of us, but I hope you can look at it in a positive light. What fun new holiday traditions have you created this year? How can you modify old traditions so you can still participate in them this year? As OTs, we are masters of adapting, and we know that spirituality, traditions, and rituals are an important part of each individual’s occupational profile. Even if it’s different this year, how can you find ways to fulfill these needs in your life?
This year I adapted my holiday traditions by minimizing the number of people I am exposed to and getting a Covid test prior to seeing family. I am excited for a new tradition of getting to spend the holiday with my boyfriend and splitting time with each of our families. Here are a few photos of past holiday seasons, as I am wishing that we could participate in our tradition of visiting NYC during Christmastime and getting together with friends on New Year’s Eve. This will definitely look different this year, but I am already looking forward to next year (crossing my fingers all will be back to normal)!
